Journalism Class

  Class highlights

There are many things which I've learnt in this class and I recommend this class to all the students who have their first quarter at De Anza. I think I am fortunate enough that I got to understand quiet a few things about american culture and the impact of mass media on everybody here. Now when I switch on the T.V. the first thing which comes to mind is that if I get a chance to work in this field. Even though by studying journalism I can feel that this field is far more different then any other.Even after reading the whole book I have gained a lot of interest in understanding the concept of media ethics, how it works, categories of films rated by mpaa.
Covering so much on news and techniques of advertisement was so much fun because all of them were interesting to see in which category do we fall for. Taking a journalism class is really helping your brain to grow more and we have a great sense of general knowledge and current affairs.

Learning from class mates

I hope every one at my table mate reads this because I wanna thank them for teaching me so much and the way they use to gossip about stuff was really interesting to observe. I have learnt many things from each one of my "friends".
  • From Kayla I learnt that we can try eating different types of fruit products like bananas, fruit yogurt and maybe more.
  • Caylin taught me to be really sarcastic and being the devil with the innocent face.
  • Shane really taught me that trutlenecks are the super hero stuff for the old fashioned.
  • And Whenever I entered class Katie was the one who waived or the first one to say "Hi Sid!" which I think is a really humble gesture.
All of them are different but are really helpful. If I see them in any of my future classes at De Anza then I'll be the first one to grab a seat next to them.
